Just wanted to share this inspirational little film on design – snagged from the GDC site. Enjoy 
One of my students has been working on a web site design that has this really great patterned style to it and the illustration reminded me of this movie. The Secret of Kells has some beautiful animation and was completely overlooked by many. If you haven’t seen it yet it’s worth a watch. Every scene is like a painting, and it has a great story line as well.
In Germany, the creative CopyTest app is a free tool used by agencies to give fresh talent an opportunity to demonstrate their ability when applying for their first job. This ad caters a modern copytest to attract the Generation Facebook. This is a great tool for any creative type whether you’re a writer or artist!

I just covered how to set up a local installation of wordpress using MAMP in my class the other day, and thought I’d post a useful video for step by step instructions in case anyone needs this for reference.
MAMP is great for running your website locally to design and develop themes or test plugins and create content before launching your site.
