This W3 schools link has been the best source I’ve found for keeping up with browser trends. I often see tutorials and articles online that still deal with IE6 workarounds and hacks. I haven’t tested in IE6 for some time now, and I think most people are dropping IE7 off their list as well now that IE9 is out. Testing in more than 2 IE browsers at any given time is a lot of extra work. Thankfully most browsers these days are conforming to web standards.
